My house was built in the 70's (1970's that is) and I think of it as fairly modern. I figure, if it was built after I was born it's not that old, if it was built before I was born it's either slightly old (say 1900 through 1950's) or an antique (anything before 1900). Comes from being in the auction business for a little while.

I still watch all the darned auction TV shows too. Most of 'em are from your side of the pond though. (Tell me, exactly WHAT IS the deal with David Dickenson? Does he KNOW he acts like that)?
