Changed Style Templates

Ken,
is that right that by changing and saving any Template of a Style, vBulletin just exports the Templates we have changed by selecting "Styles Upload / Download"? Actually it should be or am I wrong?

Reason I'm asking is: I have changed lots of Templates (Standard Style) in using with TMS, but when I'm going to update them with other GFX Styles I have, I believe I can not Download all the changes I have made (Future Related!)

Another Example: Say I have 5 Styles and each Style contain some different Template changes. It's not a problem to customize them with TMS. When all TMS changes have been made do I have a possibilty to Download that Style what contain the Template changes I have made? Sure I can Download all changes with TMS. That is not the problem.

Hmm it's really a lil bit complex to explain about what I'm talking from. So do you know what I mean?

vBulletin when it exports styles just exports changed files -

if the tms changes the template - vBulletin should download it as it shows as a changed template.

if tms makes the changes when the template is processed it will not include them, as it looks for changed templates.

this what you needed - not sure, and no time right now to install and work with the tms thing .. .

Thank you for your answer, Ken Styles are always been a red rag for me and sometimes not easy to understand. To make TMS changes for just the Standard Style is one thing - to have more than 3 Styles TMS is pretty much harder to understand how all things getting work. The more Styles and TMS changes you have the more difficult to reconcile all changes you have. Sometimes really terrible

Regarding Styles I can learn it better here in your Forum. Let's see

try and do one main one, and the rest children for each style.
- - then only 3 sometimes 4 changes in each style -- saves a lot of time and extra templates in the data base .
