Opera uPgraded to 9.0 (for me any way) today.
may have been for a few days, still i use it everyday and the first note i got of it.

find it as fast as firefox (with the add on) ; opera was faster than ff till it was installed .
ie is not even in the running - slower by 1sec compared to ff.

a simple easy to use browser, have all 3 on the computer with no problems, well just the book mark thing between the 3

that fire fox add on was talking about is : that speeds things up .. .

i am using it in its' default config , out of the box .

like my friends at After Seppuku, they talked about it and i tryed it a whyle later , and it did work great

I read that article and am using FasterFox... haven't noticed any differences, but still pretty small.

Have you added it to your Robot.txt here?

I might if bandwidth ever becomes remotely a problem, but right now worrying about bandwidth would be a joke for us....

Exactly what I was thinking, but wanted to make sure you didn't know something (else!) I didn't!!



Something that I did notice about someone using Opera on After Seppuku is that they will be "logged out" after the time limit, but still be shown as a lurker.

the lurking should end if they actually log out, ive' seen me disappear completely from the list which ever browser i am logged in with and log out log out , not leave the site ..

if i just leave it waits till the 'cookie' times out . 30 min here i think .

play with it with 3 browsers open and experiment, should be the same --
cookie is 15 minutes unless you changed it

I think it is 10 minutes now on mine, but one of my members stays on as a lurker for hours sometimes as long his window is still open.
