I love that

I'm rather fond of it myself, using it for my wallpaper now. Well at least until I have another kind of day.

BG is a little blurry, but other then that, I like it.

Blurry? It's like fire with grunge brushes used over it to create an old grainy effect. I kinda wanted it to be like that. If it'd been real crisp it wouldn't have worked the way I wanted it, it's really showing how I felt when I did it, it's the look I wanted so that's proper, matter of perspective.

Very nice layering. A bit dark for my tastes, but nice nonetheless.

My only problem with it: the top, silver part really doesn't fit in well with the background. It looks like, well, like you took some metal pictures in photoshop and removed the background, placing it on top of what you already had. Maybe add a bit of a drop shadow to it? Unless that ruins the effect you had in mind...

Well if you look at it in the overall, there's a light source coming from the upper left from your perspective (i.e. in the room with you), the light hits the top metal bit more intensely than the bottom one but because of its angle the shadow would not be as deep as the lower metal bit. Imagine the sun directly overhead, you'd have no shadow, but an object that's to your right and south several hundred miles away would have a longer shadow. Um, at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it. LOL.
