Default vBulletin RC 1

We just finished upgrading vBulletin to RC 1 on the main and the demo sites .

everything so far is functioning great with no apparent problems and or or gliches .

templates and other items will continue to be worked on and finished as there should not be many more that vBulletin will be adding or changing in the hopes that vBulletin will be on its way to becoming gold VERY soon.

this RC was for the last of any options to the added, and getting things ready for the "Gold" release. Some template changes (33) from beta6, phrases and code for the displays to be the same in browsers.we will be supporting this style more now that it is "RC", still would keep template edits to only what is necessary.
All changing of code has been finished - this lets the hooks work some to prevent "manual" edits of some templates when the nav bar is moved to the header.
will be posting the templates for the blog and project tools in the next day or 3 in the support areas of the forums.

vBulletin RC styles are available for download now.

comments / suggestions - problems "welcome" .

<-- Edit
we used a manual fix for IE8 - the head include template can be reverted back to the standard vB default .

vBulletin now has this included as a setting : New setting for IE7 compatibility question - vBulletin Community Forum
this is the code we used :

So, meaning we don't need it to make it manually?

right : vB added this setting, i didnt' notice till after down loading 30 megs of xmls and having the upGrade posted .
no harm if its there twice, is removed for the next version and vB can handle it .. .
